The Tieli-Yichun section of the Harbin-Yichun High-speed Railway spans 112.299 kilometers with a design speed of 250 km/h. The entire line has 3 stations: Tieli, Riyuexia, and Yichun West. As China's first high-speed railway passing through permafrost areas, it is a high-speed rail line that balances network functionality, intercity connectivity, and tourism purposes. It is also the northernmost high-speed railway under construction in China.
Upon completion and opening to traffic, the journey from Harbin to Suihua will take approximately 40 minutes, and to Yichun will take about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Cities along the line will be fully integrated into the "one-hour and two-hour" economic circle centered on Harbin, further promoting coordinated regional economic development.
